If you do not have yet a list of all the candidates for our local officials, below is the list of Angeles City candidates for the May 2013 local and national elections.

May 7 is Jose Abad Santos Day

May 7 is a special non-working holiday in Angeles City in celebration of the Jose Abad Santos Day.

Used to be that Jose Abad Santos Day only covers the Province of Pampanga and Angeles City, being classified as a highly urbanized city, is no longer under included under the jurisdiction of the Pampanga government.

But by virtue of the Republic Act No. 8815 which was passed in August 2000, Angeles City was also included in the commemoration of the Jose Abad Santos Day.
